About the authors:Judy Harrow is High Priestess of Proteus Coven, a liberal Gardnerian coven in the western suburbs of New York City, and devoted Grandmother to several covens in that lineage. As a retired civil servant in the best Gardnerian tradition, she is now a full-time writer, teacher and priestess, also maintaining a small private counseling practice. Judy holds an M.S. degree in counselling from City University of New York.Gwyneth Harrow is Judy's wife and working partner. She counts birds way up north, far away from any modern conveniences, and commutes between the very westernmost West Coast and New Jersey. Gwyneth holds an advanced degree in an utterly unrelated field from an obscure provincial university. For fun, she edits religious texts, including little books like this. We have been collaborating on writing projects, and happily married, since 1994. However, Anglo-American inconsistencies in spelling continue to plague us, so you will find Americanisms and Anglicisms both within these pages. We are both available to do workshops and lectures on issues of concern to Pagan clergy in general, or Wiccan practice in particular. In keeping with our vows as priestesses, we do not charge speaker’s fees under any circumstances whatsoever, and we are not at all keen on participating in for-profit Pagan ‘conferences’. Judy, being retired, is generally more free to
travel than is Gwyneth, who still labours for her daily due. However, we
both enjoy travelling and visiting with people, and we are both committed
to the notion of increasing the collective level of knowledge of our clergy
and co-religionists. So, in essence, we work for carfare and crash space.
